FreeLite, The Skylight Company, has been a family owned and operated company since 1981. During our more than three decades in this business, we have worked with a wide variety of client likes, dislikes, and expectations; we know what works, what doesn't and the many options that are available.

FreeLite's goal is to inform our customer and offer solutions to fit the specific needs of each individual. Whether you are looking to improve current natural lighting, want to improve energy efficiency, or have a problem with a current installation; we will work with you until we find the right solution to fit your needs.
FreeLite performs all the work needed for a skylight installation -carpentry, roofing, plumbing, electrical, drywall finishing and painting. Once the project is complete we will clean up after ourselves by sweeping and vacuuming your room, leaving you to sit back and enjoy your new skylight!

Our Company History
In Tucson, Arizona in 1977, seven friends searching for their futures, started a company called Desert Living selling greenhouses and skylights. The skylight trend began to grow and in 1981 these friends branched out to show people in other parts of the country how skylights could brighten up their lives. Each opened their own offices in Dallas, Phoenix, Los Angeles and San Diego, with a new name and motto: FreeLite - once you pay for the installation - the light is free!
